Pilot Scale Laboratory set up for the routine production of Pithplus for composting of Coir pith & Coirret for quality upgradation of mechanically extracted fibre. The laboratory became functional at CCRI in November 1994 launching the sales of Pithplus & Coirret. The facilities of the PSL has been extended to coir entrepreneurs all over India
